About KVH

Kiwifruit Vine Health (KVH) is a leading biosecurity organisation dedicated to supporting the New Zealand kiwifruit industry.

We were established in December 2010 to lead the industry response to the Psa incursion. Since November 2012 we have been the lead organisation responsible for managing all biosecurity readiness, response, and operations on behalf of the kiwifruit industry.

We are an industry established body, accountable to our industry members, and as well as working with growers we collaborate closely with Zespri, New Zealand Kiwifruit Growers Inc (NZKGI), the post-harvest and associated industries such as beekeepers, pollen providers, nurseries and contractors; and the Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI).

KVH has four core values that drive our work and purpose. We strive to show these values with everyone we engage with, and each other.

Our values connect us to our Strategy 2023-30; which includes a Vision, Mission, and four priority work areas to guide our work. The strategy also outlines what we will do within each of the four priority areas to achieve our Vision and Mission.
