Regional biosecurity champions come together in Taranaki

We were delighted to see Taranaki has taken a significant step forward in safeguarding its unique environment with the official launch of Biosecurity Taranaki.

The collective was launched in New Plymouth in late March, bringing together a diverse range of individuals and organisations committed to protecting the region from the threat of pests, weeds, and diseases.

It is the second regional collaboration of its type in New Zealand – the first being Tauranga Moana Biosecurity Capital, of which KVH is a founding partner. It’s great to see another community reflecting the importance of strong biosecurity to our economy and way of life.
