Exclusion

Exclusion regions either have no Psa-V identified, or Psa-V has recently been identified for the first time.

     Far North

     Whangarei

     South Island

Containment

A Containment region has only limited Psa-V infection.

     North-West Auckland

Recovery

A Recovery region is a region where Psa-V is already widespread.

     Horowhenua Wanganui

     Kerikeri

     Opotiki

Controlled Areas

A Controlled Area is established by KVH around a Psa-V infected orchard where it is the first time Psa-V has been identified in that region.

Psa-V Statistics

As of the last update (29 June 2017), there are 2916 orchards identified with Psa-V and 92% of New Zealand’s kiwifruit hectares are on an orchard identified with the disease.
